The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency will host a workshop for California farmers and ranchers to discuss Stage 2 of the Supplemental Disaster Relief Program. The virtual event will be held July 9 from 10 to 11 a.m.
The 2025 American Relief Act, which Congress passed in late 2024, provides more than $16 billion in disaster relief payments to farmers who suffered revenue, quality or production losses to crops, trees, bushes or vines due to qualifying disaster events in calendar years 2023 and 2024.
The application deadline has been extended to Aug. 12.
The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn more about the program. Registration is required and can be completed at http://bit.ly/stage-2-relief and click “continue to destination.”
