Meeting to address risk in uncertain times

California State University, Fresno, Institute for Food and Agriculture will host the 45th annual Agribusiness Management Conference Oct. 29, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Pardini’s, 2257 W. Shaw Ave., Fresno.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Navigating risk in uncertain times.”
Julie Adams, vice president of global, technology and regulatory affairs at the Almond Board of California, and Abby Taylor-Silva, managing director of regulatory affairs for Kahn, Soares and Conway will discuss forces reshaping agricultural risk.
Ian Weiland, a partner of Sagaser, Watkins and Wieland PC, and Jared Ramos of E & J Gallo Winery will discuss leading through uncertainty.
The luncheon keynote speaker is Walt Duflock, vice president of innovation for Western Growers.
