Workforce training program seeks input from employers

The Center for Land-Based Learning seeks employer feedback that will help inform trainings offered through the center’s AgHiRE program.

The workforce training program, which began two years ago, helps Spanish-speaking employees develop technical and leadership skills they need to advance at their workplaces. 

“We want your input to make sure we’re designing training that reflects real workforce needs,” CLBL said in a statement. 

The Woodland-based center is asking farm employers to take a 10-minute survey to help the program identify workforce and leadership gaps and understand skills needed for promotion. 

Employers who complete the survey by July 31 will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a $250 Tractor Supply gift card. The survey can be found by visiting landbasedlearning.org/employer-survey.
