DPR proposes additional rules for use of chloropicrin

Additional restrictions on the use of the soil fumigant chloropicrin have been proposed by the state Department of Pesticide Regulation. The proposal addresses use when chloropicrin is applied as an active ingredient. The proposal does not address chloropicrin used as a warning agent, adding an odor to other products used either in soil or structural fumigations.
