Grants aim to help farmers replace irrigation pumps

Nearly $1 million in funding to replace as many as 200 existing diesel agricultural irrigation pumps will be available through the Sacramento Air Quality Management District. The vouchers are included in a $16 million funding package announced last week by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, intended to reduce diesel emissions in the valley.
