Tax credit available for securing crop protection materials
Getting ready for income tax season, tax specialists remind eligible farmers that a tax credit is available for those who secure crop protection materials and fertilizers. As part of tax changes for businesses, the Internal Revenue Service reports that the Agricultural Chemicals Security Credit was added as part of the general business credit under the 2008 Farm Bill.
