Dirty orchards bring NOW problems to almond nuts

The high cost of navel orangeworm damage in 2017 might be a sign that increased acreage of almonds and other host crops, and generally rising temperatures, are cause for almond growers to rethink how much time and money it is worth investing in a control program for this destructive pest.
