Blueberry production to rise

Production of fresh blueberries will increase 13 percent in California this year, according to an estimate from the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council. The council said it expects California farmers to harvest 70 million pounds of fresh blueberries, compared to 62 million a year ago.
