Rural communities benefit from $4.3 million NRCS grant

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service announced it is commiting $4.3 million in California to help farmers and ranchers mitigate the effects of climate change. The agency said it has identified more than a dozen conservation practices that farmers can choose from that will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
