Counties receive funds from USFS reimbursements
The U.S. Forest Service announced it has distributed more than $215 million through the Secure Rural Schools program to 41 states and Puerto Rico for distribution to eligible counties to support public schools, roads and specific county programs. Of that total, California received $26 million.
