Cover crops provide pollinator habitat in orchards

Between the rows of their Erdman Family Farms almond orchard outside Arbuckle, Pat and Kim Gallagher planted a cover crop mix of flowering plants that provides extended bloom, including some native varieties the local bees find particularly inviting.
