Growers can take steps to help prevent almond hull rot

Almond hull rot is an infection of the hulls caused by either Rhizopus stolinifer or Monilinia fructicola. Once infected, the pathogens release toxins that move into the fruiting wood. It will kill the wood and cause crop loss.
