Last chance to enter Farm Bureau photo contest

The California Farm Bureau is accepting entries for its 44th annual photo contest, with a submission deadline of Sept. 22.

The contest is open to Farm Bureau members, who may submit up to five high-resolution photographs showcasing the people, landscapes and activities that define farm and ranch life in California.

An additional entry may be submitted in the People’s Choice category. Those photos will appear in an online gallery, with public voting to select a winner from Sept. 24 to 30.

Six prizes will be awarded, including a $1,000 grand prize.

The Budding Artists category is open to photographers aged 13 and younger. Winners in that division may receive up to $250, and all entrants also receive a copy of the “Imagine this…” book of stories written by students and inspired by agriculture.
