Farm Bureau aid open to students seeking ag careers

Registration is open to apply for financial aid from the California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation for students who pursue careers in agriculture.
Deadline for submissions is Jan. 30. The following scholarships are available:
• The Rustici Livestock and Rangeland Scholarship, which is renewable with a completed application each year. To be eligible, students must be attending or entering a two-year or four-year college or university and intend to pursue a career with a focus on domestic livestock (except horses), large animal veterinary medicine and rangeland management with an emphasis on cattle and sheep ranching. Students must also maintain an above C grade point average.
• The Carolyn S. Richardson Memorial Scholarship for applicants intending to pursue studies in agricultural resource issues or agricultural law. One scholarship will be awarded.
