Researchers find way to deal with lettuce fusarium

Lettuce growers can reduce the levels of fusarium wilt in their ground by drying out the residue of diseased plants before incorporating it, lowering pathogen levels in the soil enough that some subsequent lettuce varieties might be able to survive the disease.
