Biocontrol to be used against newly arrived cereal pest

Following discovery of the cereal leaf beetle in Siskiyou and Modoc counties last summer, the California Department of Food and Agriculture said it will deregulate the pest and work to manage its spread by establishing a biological control agent in the affected areas.
