Nurseries worry drought will discourage sales

After slowly recovering from the housing market collapse and the recession, the state's nursery operators say they now they face a new challenge. Like the rest of California, ornamental-plant farmers are scanning the skies trying to figure out what the worsening drought will mean for the spring planting season and their businesses.
