DWR awards state grants to water-stretching projects

As the state faces one of the driest years on record, the California Department of Water Resources said it will award nearly $153 million to 138 separate integrated regional water management projects around the state. Many of the projects will provide long-term drought relief by expanding water conservation and water recycling.
