FDA announces changes to key provisions of FSMA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced it will make "significant changes" to key provisions of two proposed rules under the Food Safety Modernization Act. The FDA said last week it intends to propose revised rule language, allowing the opportunity for public comment, and that it intends to publish revised proposed rules by early next summer.
