PCA survey points to water as key factor in crop plans

Water resources represent a significant factor for almost all crop production decisions, according to a survey of California pest control advisers. PCAs who completed the survey said water availability and quality influence a wide range of decisions for crops including citrus, cole crops, cotton, fruiting vegetables, grapes, leafy vegetables, tree fruit, tree nuts and other California crops.
