Biopesticide firm earns new patent
A Davis-based company announced it has received a U.S. patent for the active ingredient in its new bioherbicide. Marrone Bio Innovations Inc. said it has received a patent for sarmentine, the active ingredient in a product currently identified as MBI-011.
