Bank sees expanding markets and challenges for berries
Following a recent growth trend, sales of U.S. fresh berries will continue to expand by 7 percent per year during the next three years, according to the Rabobank Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory group. But despite good sales momentum, berry growers and grower-shippers will be challenged to maintain profitability, the bank said.
