A story about California weather conditions that appeared in the Jan. 25 issue of Ag Alert® carried a quote from Glenn County farmer Mike Vereschagin that may have inferred that he had trouble with salts in his soil. It was the muriate of potash that contained salts that had to be flushed out with irrigation or rain.
