Other nations’ trade deals may erode U.S. farm exports

Free trade agreements increase trade among member countries in the global agricultural marketplace, and the large number of trade deals that do not include the United States may be eroding U.S. presence in foreign markets, according to a new report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service.
