UCR signs global licensing agreement on new avocado
GEM, the latest avocado variety developed by University of California, Riverside, researchers, will be marketed in the United States by California-based Brokaw Nursery, and the university announced last week it has signed an exclusive license agreement with South Africa-based Westfalia Fruit Estates for international sales.
