California nursery business continues to lead the nation
California remains the leading state in production of floriculture crops, with the state's growers reporting nearly $1 billion in sales last year. A new report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture said that total equals more than 25 percent of the value for the nation's total wholesale flower and nursery plant output.
