Habitat program signup ends May 2
Landowners or managers seeking to protect, restore or enhance habitat for protected species on forestland may apply for funding through the federal Healthy Forest Reserve Program. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service said applications will be accepted until May 2.
