There’s nothing good about Cytospora canker

Cytospora is a canker disease in prunes that can cause limb dieback, girdle the tree and even kill it. Cytospora is found in many prune orchards. It moves in the air, particularly with wind-borne rain, and requires wet plant surfaces for infection to occur.
