Blueberry acreage increases due to demand

Blueberry demand continues to rise, and California acreage continues to increase. A decade ago, California produced approximately 20 million pounds. Currently, that number has increased to almost 72 million pounds, according to Todd Sanders, executive director of the California Blueberry Commission.
