FDA adds crops to its ‘rarely consumed raw’ list

After learning more about production practices used to reduce the presence of foodborne pathogens, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it would not enforce Produce Safety Rule requirements for almonds, winegrapes, dry beans and other crops.
