As part of the California Farm Bureau Federation centennial celebration, we're taking time each month to note a different decade in CFBF history.

The 1970s saw the founding of the Farm Employers Labor Service (1970) and FARM PAC (1976).

The weekly Ag Alert® started publication in 1974, and our bimonthly magazine for associate members—now called California Bountiful®—debuted in 1977.

In 1979, CFBF offices moved to Sacramento, at 1601 Exposition Blvd. The image shows an aerial view of the site.
