Farm fills demand for etrog fruit for Jewish holiday

As part of its strategy to remain competitive, a small farm growing specialty citrus has become the only known commercial grower of the etrog citron in the United States. "Etrog," the Hebrew word for the citron, is an ancient variety sold for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, which this year begins at sundown Sept. 23.
