Cotton variety approved

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has deregulated a cotton variety by Bayer CropScience that's genetically engineered to resist the herbicide glyphosate and to p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase inhibitors such as isoxaflutole.
