EQIP projects bring conservation benefits to California, USDA says

Conservation benefits for California through the federal Environmental Quality Incentives Program totaled more than $84 million in fiscal year 2017, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which said the largest investments came in air quality, water conservation and water quality, and forest-related conservation for both proactive and postfire assistance.
